Fox Sports Southwest to Broadcast Five Games

SAN ANTONIO (November 2, 2012) – The San Antonio Rampage and FOX Sports Southwest announced today that they will broadcast five Rampage games throughout the team’s 2012-13 season. 

"We are looking forward to this great opportunity to showcase hockey in South Texas,” said Spurs Sports & Entertainment Director of Broadcasting Mike Kickirillo. “Rampage games offer some of the best entertainment in San Antonio and we believe that broadcasting games this season will get our local viewers excited and engaged with the team."
 
FOX Sports Southwest will televise two Rampage home games and three Rampage road games starting on Wednesday, Dec. 19, as the Rampage take on their in-state rival Texas Stars in Austin at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Park Center.  Rampage play-by-play broadcaster Dan Weiss and Spurs television host and in-game reporter Andrew Monaco will serve on the television broadcast team.

The Rampage kick off a four-game homestand tonight at AT&T Center against Grand Rapids at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to Rampage home games start at $10 and can be purchased at the AT&T Center Southeast Box Office, by calling a Rampage representative at 210-444-5554 or online at sarampage.com.  
 
ABOUT THE RAMPAGE 
The Rampage is one of four professional sports franchises owned and operated by Spurs Sports & Entertainment – the San Antonio Spurs (NBA), the Silver Stars (WNBA) and the Austin Toros (NBA D-League) – and plays its home games at the SS&E operated AT&T Center. The 2012-13 season marks the Rampage’s 11th season in the AHL. In operation since 1936, the AHL continues to serve as the top development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams with more than 87 percent of today's NHL players being AHL graduates.
