SAN ANTONIO (November 15, 2013) – Thousands of kids are expected to attend the San Antonio Rampage’s fourth-annual kids day game on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 10:30 a.m., as the Rampage take on the Oklahoma City Barons at the AT&T Center.

The matinee game known as “Cool School Education Day,” presented by the Children's Orthopaedic & Spine Center, combines a Rampage student workbook and in-game elements to provide students with educational support in an unforgettable way. The hockey field trip continues to grow every season, with a record 10,793 kids in attendance for last year’s game against the Houston Aeros on Nov. 13.

In anticipation of Tuesday’s game, the Rampage have invited students from Jordan Intermediate School, a Team Up Challenge semi-finalist, to the AT&T Center on Monday. The Rampage players will assist the students in packing meal bags for their fellow students at Jordan Elementary who will be leaving for Thanksgiving break without knowing where their next meal may come from. The Team Up Challenge is a youth-led service initiative that allows students to take what they are learning in the classroom and apply it to the real world, bringing education alive in powerful ways

The Rampage are encouraging fans to stop by the AT&T Center for lunch and hockey action at the Rampage day game on Tuesday. As a midweek game, the Rampage are featuring an All-You-Can-Eat Weekday Package, which includes a game ticket and unlimited hot dogs, nachos, soda, peanuts and popcorn all for $20. Tickets can be purchased by calling a Rampage representative at 210-444-5554 or online at sarampage.com.
