Rampage recall Lukacevic and Mosienko from Las Vegas

San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving today announced that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled left wing Ned Lukacevic and center Tyler Mosienko from their ECHL affiliate, the Las Vegas Wranglers.

Lukacevic, 24, split last season between the Texas Stars (AHL), Providence Bruins (AHL) and Las Vegas (ECHL). He posted an assist in two games with the Stars and two goals and two assists in eight games with Providence in 2009-10. Last season he totaled 65 points (28 goals, 37 assists) in 61 games with Las Vegas.

The Podgorica, Yugoslavia native has appeared in 74 regular season AHL games (6 goals, 8 assists) and 15 AHL playoff games (1 goal, 1 assist) in his six-year professional career split between Manchester, Providence and Texas.

The 6-foot-0, 200-pound Lukacevic has skated in 188 ECHL games between Reading and Las Vegas recording 132 points (56 goals, 76 assists). He also has appeared in 13 ECHL playoff games totaling two goals and four assists.

Lukacevic was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the fourth round (110th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

Mosienko, 26, has appeared in 31 AHL games collecting seven goals and 11 assists split between Bridgeport, Manchester and Rockford. Last season he played 56 games with the Nuermberg Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers collecting five goals and 14 assists and appeared in five playoff games posting a goal and an assist.

The 5-foot-8, 175-pound center has appeared in 257 ECHL regular season games collecting 206 points (71 goals and 135 assists). He has also skated in 49 ECHL playoff games recording 17 goals and 22 assists.

The Rampage play their first road game of the season tonight against the Texas Stars at 7 p.m. at Cedar Park Center and will host the Lake Erie Monsters tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
