Coyotes recall Ebbett, Reassign MacLean

Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled center Andrew Ebbett from the San Antonio Rampage, the Coyotes American Hockey League affiliate. In addition, the Coyotes announced that they have reassigned forward Brett MacLean to the Rampage.

In 36 games with the Rampage this season, the 5-foot-9, 174-pound Ebbett has recorded 11 goals and 25 assists for 36 points. He ranks first on the team in assists and second in points. Ebbett has played in six games for the Coyotes this season registering one goal.  

Last season, the 28-year-old native of Vernon, British Columbia, played in 61 games with the Minnesota Wild, Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Ducks, recording eight goals and six assists for 14 points. Ebbett was signed as a free agent by the Coyotes on July 2, 2010.

MacLean has played in two games with the Coyotes this season scoring one goal. He leads the Rampage in scoring this season with 16 goals and 21 assists in 40 games.
