FAN-tastic Friday

FAN-tastic Friday winners- The Bankhead Family

The Rampage are pleased to announce FAN-tastic Friday for all of our fans who “Like” us on Facebook. Each Friday throughout the offseason, we will pick one fan to highlight on both Facebook and sarampage.com. Fans will be playing for fabulous Rampage prizes each week and will be entered into a Fan Playoff. Once 20 fans have been highlighted we will begin Fan Playoffs in which all Rampage fans will vote on the match ups through Facebook. One lucky fan will be voted as the most FAN-tastic and will win a team autographed stick.

This week’s FAN-tastic Friday winner is Shelly Bankhead and her family!

How long have you and your family been Rampage fans?
The girls and I have been fans for 2 years and Geoff has been a fan for 6 years. We found out about the Rampage after Geoff and I started dating and he took me to my first hockey game and have been coming ever since the girls and I moved to San Antonio from Cedar Park.

What is your family's favorite thing about going to Rampage games?
Our favorite thing about going to the Rampage games is that we can spend time together as a family and with Geoff’s family who are also season ticket holders. It’s a great family atmosphere and we anxiously await the schedule to be let out every year now so we know when opening day is to make sure we are there.

Who is your family's favorite player? Why?
Eric Neilsen would have to be the favorite among the family. The amount of time that he puts into talking with the fans and saying hi and thanking you for supporting the Rampage when you see him at the home games and road games is great! He is a wonderful person to have on the team. We also have a picture of him holding Brielle that was used on his Man of the Year poster too!

What is your best memory from the 2010-11 season?
My best memory from 2010-11 season was bringing our daughter Brielle to her first game when she was 4 days old against the Houston Aeros. We have a picture of her and T-Bone together that night!

What are you all most looking forward to in the 2011-12 season?
We’re looking forward to all the excitement of the games and seeing the players return for a great 10th anniversary year!
