Panthers recall Kennedy and Kearns

Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forward Tim Kennedy and center Bracken Kearns from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL).

Kennedy, 25, has played in 85 National Hockey League contests with Buffalo (2008-10) and Florida (2010-11) scoring 10 goals with 17 assists and 50 PIM. The Buffalo, New York, native has played in three games with San Antonio (AHL) this season recording one assist.

Kearns, 30, has scored three goals in three games with San Antonio (AHL) this season. The Vancouver, British Columbia, native was signed by Florida as a free agent on July 14 and has yet to appear in a NHL regular season game.

The Rampage travel to Austin tonight to take on in-state rival Texas Stars at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Park Center. The Rampage will return home tomorrow night to take on the Peoria Rivermen in a 7:00 p.m. matchup at the AT&T Center. Friday night will feature a KZEP Dollar Drink Night and an OVERTIME performance by Silent Minority.
