Rampage make roster moves

San Antonio Rampage General Manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has assigned defenseman Keith Seabrook and center Wacey Rabbit to their ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones. In addition, the Rampage have assigned forward David Marshall to their CHL affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees.
 
Seabrook, 23, was recalled by San Antonio yesterday and played in his first AHL game of the season last night recording five shots on goal. He returns to Cincinnati where he has appeared in one game with the Cyclones this season. The Delta, British Columbia native has skated in 141 career AHL games over the past two seasons (2009-11) with Abbotsford and Manitoba tallying 51 points (15 goals and 36 assists). He was selected by the Washington Capitals in the second round, 52nd overall, of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

Rabbit, 25, was recalled by San Antonio on Thursday and played in two games with the Rampage. He has skated in one game with Cincinnati this season tallying an assist in the Cyclones’ season opener last Saturday. The Lethbridge, Alberta native has recorded 34 goals and 47 assists in 240 career AHL games with Milwaukee (2009-10), Providence (2006-09) and San Antonio (2011-12). He has appeared in 23 AHL playoff games contributing five goals and two assists (2008-10).
 
Marshall, 26, was recalled by San Antonio on Thursday and skated in two games with the Rampage marking his fourth season in the AHL. Last season he split his time between Rochester (AHL), Worcester (AHL), Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) and Wheeling (ECHL) posting five goals and four assists in 43 AHL games and totaling 22 points (10 goals, 12 assists) in 28 ECHL games. The Buffalo, Minn. native has played in 69 career AHL games contributing nine goals and eight assists and appeared in 11 AHL playoff games last season with the Penguins.
 
The Rampage will return to the ice on Friday, Oct. 28 to host the Houston Aeros at 7 p.m. Friday’s game features a KZEP Dollar Drink Night and an OVERTIME performance.
