Rampage recall AJ Jenks from Cincinnati

San Antonio Rampage General Manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled left wing AJ Jenks from their ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones.

Jenks, 21, has appeared in eight Rampage games this season tallying four penalty minutes. He joins the Rampage from Cincinnati where he has played in seven games with the Cyclones posting one assist and four penalty minutes. The Wolverine Lake, Mich. native skated in 71 games with Rochester (AHL) posting eight goals and 12 assists during his rookie season in 2010-11. He was selected by the Florida Panthers in the 5th round (100th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

The Rampage continue their six-game road trip with a stop in Milwaukee this afternoon at 4 p.m. against the Admirals at the Bradley Center to wrap up a three-in-three series.
