Rampage defenseman Sean Sullivan participated in the 73rd AHL All-Star Classic in Portland, Maine taking part in both the Skills Competition on Monday and the All-Star Game on Tuesday.
Sullivan is the eighth Rampage player to be selected to the All-Star Team and was the fourth San Antonio defenseman to play in the mid-season classic. He is also the fourth Rampage player selected to the PlanetUSA team.
On Monday, Sullivan participated in two of the seven events in the 2010 Ducks Unlimited AHL All-Star Skills competition. During the RBC Rapid Fire, he scored three goals on five attempts against Canadian goalie Jonathan Bernier (Manchester) to help PlanetUSA earn a point. He also participated in the McDonald’s Pass and Score alongside PlanetUSA teammates T.J. Hensick (Lake Erie) and Patrick Rissmiller (Grand Rapids). On three attempts, in which each skater must touch the puck at least once before taking a shot on goal, the trio was unable to score against Canadian goaltender Justin Peters (Albany).

On Tuesday, Sullivan skated a good portion of the game breaking up a few Canadian plays in front of the net and even launched two shots on goal. The Canadians went on to defeat PlanetUSA 10-9 in a five-round shootout.
